How do I know my current card account balance?
Your balance is included at the end of every SMS sent to confirm a transaction. You may also check account balance and activity through the Najm Online website or App or via interactive SMS which you can set up.
How can I use interactive SMS service?
By sending an SMS to 3135 you can receive information for the following:
- Last3 transactions
- Credit card balance
- Last Statement summary
- Setting/Resetting a PIN

What are quasi-cash transactions?

How many days do I have to make a payment from the time my statement is produced?
For the most updated fees and charges, please refer to the Schedule of Fees & Charges.
How long will it take for my payment to be credited into my account?
The time it takes your payment to be credited into your account may be anywhere from 4 to 72 hours. We recommend you use Najm Online if your bank is listed, as we can see when your payment is made. Otherwise, the fastest way to make a payment is at an ATM. Paying through an exchange house takes 48 hours and petrol stations like EPPCO and ENOC take even longer. Transferring payments takes time because there are several systems and banks subject to their own timings involved in the process. Unfortunately, Najm is not in control of third-party platforms.
When is a late payment fee charged to my account?
In the case of failure to pay the minimum amount due so that it is credited by the end of the day on the due date, a late payment charge will be added to the account. This will appear the day after the due date and can be seen here Schedule of Fees & Charges .
What is an over limit fee?
An over limit fee is charged when the credit limit is exceeded by any means, whether transactions made by the cardholder or other fees incurred from late payment or finance. It is recommended to keep careful track of your limit and always pay more than the minimum amount due if you intend to continue using the card. Schedule of Fees & Charges
What is a ‘finance charge’ on my statement and how is it calculated?
A finance charge represents the interest accrued on your account. If a payment is made which is less than the total outstanding (between minimum amount due and the total balance) by the due date, the finance charge represents the interest accrued on that remaining outstanding balance. Calculated on a daily basis, this charge will be applied to the current balance from the date of the transactions as well as on all new transactions from the respective date, until the total outstanding amount is paid in full, including all finance charges. Can I change my PIN to a preferred number?
You can change your PIN at any time through our 24/7 call center on 600 57 NAJM (6256) within the UAE and +971 4 293 5811 internationally. Alternatively, you may request a PIN change by sending the SMS ‘RESET (space) last 6 digits of your card number (space) 4 digit PIN of your choice’ to 1681. E.g. RESET 123456 1122

Do I have an option to get a paper statement?
Yes, you can request for a paper statement at a nominal fee. To get the most updated fees and charges, please refer to the Schedule of Fees & Charges.
How do I activate my card?

What should I do if my Najm Credit Card is lost or stolen?
To report a lost or stolen card please call 600 57 NAJM (6256) from within the UAE or +971 293 5811 from outside the UAE.

What happens once I’ve submitted my application, had it approved, and my documents have been verified?
Once we receive your application form and you have enclosed all the required documentation for verification, you should receive your Najm Credit Card in approximately 7 business days.

Can I exchange my Carrefour voucher for cash?
No, the voucher cannot be exchanged for cash
Is there a minimum spend required to earn cashback?
There is a minimum of AED 2000 spend in a billing cycle to be eligible for cashback rewards. If you do not meet the minimum spend in a billing cycle, you will not be eligible to earn cashback.
If I decide to cancel my Najm Platinum Cashback Card, can I transfer my cashback to the Voyager Rewards?
No, you cannot transfer any cashback or rewards from one card or product to another.
Is there are cap on the rewards I can earn each month?
Platinum Plus cardholders can earn up to AED 500 each month and Platinum cardholders up to AED 200 in Carrefour vouchers
When will my rewards expire?
Rewards are valid in your account for 12 months. If a cardholder does not earn the minimum AED 100 to receive a voucher, the rewards within the account which exceed 12 months will expire. Kindly refer to the detailed Terms and conditions
How can I redeem my Najm Cashback reward points?
When you reach cashback savings of AED 100, a Carrefour voucher will be sent to you along with your statement. This voucher will be valid for 90 days from the date of the statement. The expiry date is also mentioned on the voucher.
What does Carrefour deliver as part of Valet Trolley?
The free unlimited Valet Trolley includes food (fruits & vegetables, frozen, groceries), in addition to detergents, cleaning, and beauty products.
This does not include electronics, home goods and clothing.
Is the Valet Trolley service free?
Yes. Najm Platinum and Platinum Plus Cashback cardholders enjoy an exclusive free unlimited Valet Trolley service for a minimum purchase of AED 250 and above.

Why have I been charged for VOX tickets which were meant to be free?
As a Najm customer you have a maximum of 2 free tickets per month at VOX Cinemas. If any additional free cinema tickets are booked and collected from supplementary card holders, the cost of these will be charged back in full to the customer within 60 days from the date of purchase. Note, that Visa Platinum card holders also receive discounts on Sundays at VOX.

How can I get Global Emergency Assistance for my Voyager Card?
Your Voyager Gold Credit Card is covered by a Global Emergency Assistance Service provided by Visa, which covers reporting lost or stolen cards, emergency card replacement and emergency cash disbursement.

Visa LoungeKey – What are the details of entitlement?
- You are entitled to 12 free visits every calendar year
- Of the 12 entitled visits in the calendar year, the first visit is free and has no eligibility condition
- To be entitled for the next 11 free visits, you need to complete one (1) international transaction in each calendar year
- The minimum value of this transaction should be worth USD 1, which may include face to face, e-commerce, MOTO (Mail Order/Telephone Order), or any recurring transactions where the currency is not AED. This transaction may take up to 15 days to register with LoungeKey
- Apart from the first free visit, if you utilize the balance of 11 visits without achieving the spend condition, the respective lounge access cost of USD 27 will be charged to your card
- The LoungeKey access entitlement and the requirement to meet the eligibility condition will reset from January 1st in subsequent years

When I shop online – how do I register my name and address details on the Prepaid Visa MyNetCard?
To use your card for payment on most websites you need to put in your name and address details (to do this login to www.premogiftcards.com and click on ‘My Card’). Always remember that the address you enter on the website you are making a transaction on must match the address details you register for the card on www.premogiftcards.com.
Steps to register your card, check the balance and update your profile:
- Go to www.premogiftcards.com
- Click on “My Card” and then click on “Register Card”
- Enter your card number on the left-hand side banner, at the bottom, of the webpage that opens up where it says “Sign-up/Register your Card”
- Click “Sign-up/Register”
- Enter card number… (etc)

If I am travelling overseas, can I use the Prepaid Visa MyNetCard?
You may use the card wherever VISA is accepted but only online. The card cannot be used to swipe at merchant point of sale machines.
